I would like to remove the cross over from my CDM1 SE's and replace it with the original CDM1 cross over network. Will this work ?
The CDM1 had a first order cross over circuit with minimum components were the CDM1SE has a more complex 2nd order cross over circuit.
The main drivers of the two models also differ. On the CDM1SE they have included a phase plug. Question is would that change the speaker characteristics so much that it would prevent a first order cross over ?
The cross over point between the CDM1 and CDM1SE are the same.
