I have the HRS unit in my system and it really helps. I have the TDS Passive Audiophile as well but it just seems to really amplify the slight hum in my system. After a year of trying to get the TDS to work, I finally gave up on the it and pulled it while the HRS units continues to work great. The HRS does seem sensitive to the power cord, though.Steve
