You're absolutely full of shit, John.

All I did was poke some fun at a grossly embarrassing error on Bybee's web page. An error that had been on that web page for at least six months before I said anything about it here and despite the fact that Bybee is out of business, the web site is still active and the error is still there.

That grossly embarrassing error being:

"Electrons travel through most electrical wire at 50 to 68% of the speed of light..."

I'm sorry, but all the advanced physics known to man isn't going to change the fact that if you were applying enough energy to your stereo system to cause the drift velocity of the electrons in the conductors to approach 50 to 60 percent the speed of light, you'd be left with nothing but some smoldering remains. And of course you yourself agreed that this was in fact an error.

Instead of simply saying "Ooops. I'll bring that up to Jack so he can have it corrected" you leaped into some childish defensive mode and came down on me as if you were a Catholic and I'd just spit on the fucking Pope or something.

And at no time did I ever say that Bybee's filters did not or could not work. I did have a genuine curiousity as to how they were supposed to work, but as usual, you offered no illumination there either. Basically you said (and no, this isn't a literal quote) "You could never understand how it works without an advanced degree in physics. Either buy one and listen for yourself or shut the fuck up and stop asking questions."

Next time, get your story straight.
