Based on what Saul told me at the CES one year the 10b has an 18db tuning interstage rather than a 6 or 12 as most tube tuners this make it very selective . The down side is it take a very good fm generator and some practice to do well . By the way this test equipment will cost 5 to 10 k which it self requires regular calibration . It is not a lost cause. But a piece that is in poor shape will not save you money in the long run and should only be under taken because you enjoy the restoration processs.
