LOL.Also I noticed you haven't tried (according to the pic) stiffening the panels so that they do not rock. One light knock on the panel and they wobble for a few seconds. Imagine what a big bass transient could do, might not be that big but I'm sure it would be audible.
You could use something simple like a rod or bar that would clip onto the top of the panel at both corners and then attach to the back metal strips at the bottom. I would think this would make a big difference.
