I just tried this and am not sure that it will universally improve the sonics in all situations. Seems to me that the length and type of cable between the transport and DAC play a significant factor.In my system I placed an RCA terminator on my Delta transport that's feeding my Camelot DAC via AES/EBU and although I can clearly hear the difference, my initial reaction is that it makes the midrange sound cold and lifeless.
Has anyone else experienced negative effects using the 75-ohm terminator?
