There seems room for significant performance enhancement. The bypassing of the tweeter and mid range caps with small value caps can almost certainly be improved upon with single or dual Hovland Musicaps with no bypass.I suggest that you carefully draw a schematic and fax it to Alex Crespi at Hovland. He will have suggestions for cap upgrades.
If your inductors are wire then can be replaced for sonic gain with foil inductors from Alpha Core or Solo, but you will have to find out the original inductance values
