My transformer is also an industrial like yours. Mine did not indicate a shield either, upon opening the cover I found a wire soldered to the case that the transformer is mounted in. If you find similar, thats the shield wire. You can test the transformers ability to balance your power by measuring the difference between the two 60 volts sections. Mine came out to be within 1 or 2 tenths of a volt of each other.
