I think you have made the right choices so far. My understanding is the bjt's will have a significantly lower resistance when conducting than mosfet's will, providing better control of cone excursion.Also they will swing closer to the B+ rails than mosfet's for better power output. As far as the driver, I have no opinion. If it will adeqately drive the outputs, why bother changing it. Regarding power supply's- If the money is not an issue, add more. Stiffer supply's do sound better, however it may not make an "big" improvement.Toss a coin on that one.
