I am looking for a good recommendation for upgraded voltage regulators for my Link DAC. I believe that Linear Technologies is the mfr. of choice, but am confused by the use of variable voltage regulators, etc. I just want a fixed voltage +/- regulator, one of each of course. The stock units in my Link are +/- 8V and I am not sure as to the quality of them.Incidentally, after removing the PCB from the chassis and studying the underside, I am not as intimidated about taking a soldering iron to it. Granted, I won't be using my 40W hog, probably will get a 15W soldering pencil to do the work, but it looks doable, even for a novice like me :)
Thanks in advance for any recommendations.
Dan
