Your experiences were based upon using the units in place of originals or in by-pass mode of the originals?A couple of weeks ago you mentioned some efforts by you on cap/crossover and I had been waiting/interested in those experiences.
At that time you mentioned the word by-pass, but seems that you may have done both changeout and bypass.If changeout, did you find value matching was a problem (ie couldn't get a 4.7uF for Rel so had to use a 5.0uF type stuff).
Don't intimately know the VR6's, how is the xover housed? On binding post?
Did you externalize the xover for easier access?
So they do Solen, what about inductors and resistors?
