1. grounding rod do not come in solid copper because it is too soft to drive in to the ground . Depending on the soil a 5/8 ths 10 foot long grounding rod will be fine , longer rods that tread together ard used for high tension towers. I have seen 4by 8 foot plate buried for recording studios to establish a true ground plain. 2. A emt conduit i.e. metal should be used for the dedicatded lines if rf is a problem . 3. deal with noise at the household sources frig et al. 4.About your point five this is for safe that singular point at the panel box that neutral and grond meets is so that the ground rod not you carries the current to earth. 6. since coduit lets you pull wire through it use teflon 12 or 10 guage is less than 30 cents per conductor surplus in proper colors.
