Just going by my experience. About three years ago I did a design that use the TC90TdxB shielded version with the Seas 6.5" aluminum cone woofers. Had one of the TC90TdxB's go out on me after about a month. Used them for HT so I played them pretty load, Had them xo at 3 kHz with a 3rd order (back in my higher order filter days). May have just been faulty to begin with. Talking about the Dynaudio's not being fragile, about a month ago, I was working on my phono pre-amp. It had some bad bi-polars. The only way I was getting any sound at all was turning the pre-amp volume wide open. I forgot that I had it wide open and after replacing the bi-polars, I put on an album. I went spastic when the blaring racket came out of the speakers. It took me a good 15 seconds to figure out what to do (like I said, I went spastic). No damge. I also designed a 3-way for my daughter's college graduation using a Morel MDT-20 and the 4" Audax CF, with a OEM 12" woofer, using series xo. I miswired the xo by putting the input where the output should be and the output where the imput should be. All of the low end was going to he MDT-20. It was bottoming out for a couple of minutes before I figured out something was wrong. It survived also. I am definantly getting "old timers" disease. I don't do xo wiring anymore when I am tired.Clayton
