I would try a 12db/octave crossover centered in the overlap of the drivers, fine tuned by adjusting the tweeter caps this way- instead of buying one cap of the estimated value buy several caps of a smaller value that will allow you to add or subtract say, 1 mfd at a time. Adjust by ear. Dont try to take the tweeter too low of course. Maybe pick up a couple .5 mfd's to try fine tuning.This is my off the top of my head suggestion, maybe more experianced people will jump in. Oh ya - If it sounds to "brite" add an .5 ohm to 2 ohm resistor to the tweeter to lower its output. Hope that helps, E-mail me if I can help more.
