The speed of a signal in a wire depends on many factors, but in no case is it going to affect the phase of the signal when the scale is of that of a normal listening room. It would literally takes miles of wire to introduce phase anomalies at low frequency.Incidentally, electron conduction speed is not the speed of light in a conductor. Generally, what concerns folks about unequal speaker cables is the difference in characteristic impedance which can be a factor if the cables are high capacitance types. I am sure someone ambitious could provide a thorough mathematical treatment for you, it is an accademic exercise, but it isnt much fun.
