Ears2,To echo EARS, solid wood cabs do have significant problems w/ cracks, tight seams, and warpage. They might look good but would not fullfil the requirements for a good speaker cab (air tight seams, non-resonant, dimensionally stabile). MDF, OSPB, particle board, etc, can make good cabs if your woodworking skills are adequate. Plywood is excellent for cabs (but more $$$) and excells as internal bracing material. Another excellent bracing material is 1" x 1" alum angle material. It's around $1.00/ft. It's excellent for both panel rib type bracing and cross bracing too. It's more work but very strong and takes up very little cab volume. As far as adhesives go, yellow woodworking glues are good (especially for sealing seams). Liquid Nails type adhesives are excellent plus they have the added property of damping the panels (somewhat). Hope this helps. Good luck.
