Laz,
The NOS Amperex tubes are great. Much better than the standard Golden Dragon that came with the Pathos. With the Amperex, strings are much authentic sounding, horns become alive and things have a much better natural-sounding tonality. I think to get the best sound out of the Pathos, upgrading the tubes is a must.As for the speakers. I do have them at a 10 degree toe-in, which seems to be the best so far. I'm still experimenting though.
