Ed,I am currently using the original maggie posts. The mmgs have a set added for the resistor to tame brightness. So i just utilized the existing posts, but in the furure, I may switch to WBT just because I can get a great deal on them through a friend.
I do plan to actively bi- amp, so I do plan to purchase an active crossover. This saves me from having to attempt to attach another pair of rcas on to the board of my cd player (I have no pre-amp). I do not think I could fit a pair on if I tried. Plus I suppose with an active xover, i could hook up my sub, and find it easier to match levels on all 3 amps. Bryston seems to be a good value, but I am open to other suggestions...
Let me know if there is a difference between the cardboard box, and a "proper " wood box. Also, do you have any suggestions for a tube amp for the high end? I am considering CJ mv55, Parts connection assemblage Set amp, and dynaco mono blocks.
Thanks!!
