I agree.
I would put innertubes under evry component and use cones onto an MDF platform above the innertube.
Cones can be home made.
I have found this to be a good place to start.
Cheap isolation platforms can be made from layers of aluminium (3mm) MDF (12 or 18mm) expanded polystyrene(maybe 25mm) MDF (12 or 18mm) and back to aluminium (3mm).
Put this on an innertube and you are getting somewhere, and at a cheap price.
