Dpy,The RBs are the way to go. I had cones under my 67SE and the RBs are way better. Better bass, more focused, staging is wider and more dimensional.
You would be best off putting both the CDP and DAC on RBs. I assume you're familiar w/ all the DIY RB stuff in the tweak archive.As far as getting the cones off the CDP, here's a suggestion. Try "freeze spray" that the elect. techs use to chill circuits. Freeze the adhesive for a few seconds, then give the cone a sharp rap. With luck, the adhesive will cleanly snap off.
BTW, if you do go the DIY RB route, I personally recommend damped roller-pods. I tried the orig DIY RBs but found silica damped RBs are even better. Good luck w/ your project.
