I had asked both here on the general board and over at Audioreview
as to why the 3500 is now being offered most places for $1500. Any
input on the reason why? A friend has been quite impressed with the
sound I have gotten from my 2200II and is considering either a used
2200II in the $700 range or a new 3500 at $1500. Not knowing why
the price has dropped on the 3500 and not having heard one, I hesitate
giving him any recommendation beyond telling him to listen.
