When I first played with the circuit in 2020 I found the plate resistance to be around 1250 ohms. Then I used a 3,500 ohm primary transformer. The output transformers I have are from Musical Power Supplies, OT10SE. The primaries are 5,000 or 7,000 ohms. The secondary's are 4, 8 or 16 ohms. The primary resistance can be altered to other values by using different secondary taps. The output will be considered an 8 ohm load regardless of which tap is used.
The powder coat painting place did not seem interested in painting my little chassis. I picked up a can of primer and gray satin spray paint. I'll paint the chassis myself.
