I've not heard the Diamonds or C-40's, but I owned Eidolons and P-10s, and although both are very good speakers, the Antares are, IMO, orders of magnitude better. I'd recommend taking a listen at Andy Payors in Rockport, although I don't think you really hear what the Antares can do in Andy's less than optimal room. I think JAZ and I constitute an Antares owners group of 2 in the US, which limits home audition. I'm in NE Ohio, if you're in the vicinity you're more than welcome to come by for a listen. In spite of the less than optimistic impedence and sensitivity on paper, I drive mine without any problems with a 75 watt OTL (Tenor). Happy hunting.
