Hello Dave,I listened to them at my local hifi dealer and was very impressed.
Especially for the price it is an unbeatable floorstand speaker.Eventually I choose for a pair of secondhand Kef Q55 speakers which I got for even less money.
A while ago I read in a magazine that not the full cabinet of the m73 is used. Mission placed a kind of brace/shelf which makes the cabinet a bit smaller (look at the volume specs of the missions: it's too small in comparison with the cabinet). This is done to make a good match with the m-series subwoofer.
By the way, this philosophy is not used for the m74.
Combined with a sub the m73 must really sing!
