A fair number of false statements here

The importers/exporters will have to absorb some percentage of the costs. The businesses will also have to take a bit of a haircut. For example, Apple makes 45% profit on their gear. They can afford to take a bit less profit.

If businesses 'take a bit of a haircut' they lay off employees or shut down unless the business operator doesn't know what they are doing. Clearly wherever this idea came from isn't the voice of experience.

Been following this closely on the business blogs and videos. It turns out the issue is a lot more complex than believing some talking head on the television suddenly trying to come across as a tariff's expert (which they certainly are not).

Clearly the talking heads you've been listening to aren't either. Your statement here is contradictory- you say its 'more complex' but then you apparently go on believing the side of the story from your 'talking heads' that you want to believe.

Bad logic of course and unconvincing.
Energy costs are already coming down
Not in my neck of the woods! Its risen already since the tariffs added last week. But as the economy cools the price of gas is likely to go down, at least that is how its behaved in the past.

Negotiations are underway to address the disparities with trade.
There's been mixed messages on this topci from the White House. I suspect it has a lot to do with the left hand having no idea what the right hand is doing but I really don't know.

And neither do you.

Its not a good idea to state made up stories as fact. They tend to fall apart when a light is shown upon them.
