If speaker design with modern tools with computers was now so easy almost every speaker should be good, at least a Stereophile A-. I don't think it's that easy.
Then again, sort of contradicting myself, I had a friend who I saw design 2 way speakers on a computer years ago in less than a day. When I asked him how close to the final design the computer design was he said about 95%. But my friend had decades of experience designing speakers and he was using drivers(SEAS) that he was very experienced with and he knew what type of results he wanted(given 'good' speakers often sound different knowing what 'sound' a designer wants is critical and usually takes years to personally discover).
