I pulled each sub 14" out of the corner and selected the corner equalization on the subs. The subs disappeared and any hint of bass boom gone. Very good soundstage with strong centered image. The portrayal of the drum solo in Take Five was perhaps the best I've heard.
But in furtherance of staging the house for sale, I think I'm going to remove all cables and do without music until it sells.
