Rogers LS33?

Hello peeps!

Search didn't come up with anything so, I have to ask.
Anyone got experience with Rogers LS33 speakers?

There's a pair available for sale, rather expensive (20% below
retail, and they're rather old), and only review I found was
a one-liner that said voices could be harsh and that it lacks
bass.

I can understand the lack of bass, they're rated at 75Hz -2dB
and they were meant to be used with AB33 subs, but these are
for sale WITHOUT subs and I probably would not be buying any.

I was just wondering about their overall character and amp matching.

They're rated at 8 ohms, and 87dB @1W @2m (2 meters!) so thay should
work well with low powered amps, I'd be using a complete tube rig.

They're still on the Rogers web page, supposedly made around 1996 and
should be the last model they made pre-china era:
