How do you have the 1.6's positioned?

I have 1.5's and to me they sound the best when placed close to the wall behind them, mine are about 1.5 feet out, and aimed straight into the room with no toe in. I drive mine with a Golden Tube SE-40. To me they do not sound thin at all. My listening room is not that large though. A larger room might make them sound thin.
