Taking potshots at Wilson is a favorite sport on Speaker Asylum. Concerning that laughable ad, perhaps the component has just been heated, and the solder and soldering tip are now being applied. But I dunno; I'm a lousy solderer, although I did replace one of the woofers in a Puppy 5 myself. It keeled over when one of its "puppy paws" fell out. But I'm glad M3lover likes the sound of Wilsons; he's right that they are too damn expensive, but the WattPuppy 8 (now finally broken in) is the only speaker for me.
