Avalon Ascendant?

Does anyone know how the Ascendant compares with its predecessor (Arcus) and its current, though soon to be extinct, big brothers (Opus and Opus Ceramique)? I understand that the Ascendant underwent a remodeling of sorts a year or two ago, with a new tweeter unit. If you can, let me know if you listened to the newer version.

BTW, I listen mainly to classical music and my room is 26 x 16 x 7.5 with ASC treatments.
