Having experimented heavily with my Quad 57s with many vintage and modern amps including those by Eico, Pilot, Fisher, Heathkit, Audio Research, Conrad Johnson, Naim, Quad, Scott, Dynaco, Sun, etc...there is one company who's products I've heard that stands out among the crowd. Nothing I experienced made the Quads sing like the deHavilland amps. These units opened the Quads up with a delicate transparency, vivid clarity, and unprecedented dynamic presentation unlike anything else I've ever heard. Without question, they were the finest with the Quad ESL-57.
