Not true. Even spiking my speakers adds to the clarity and focus of the midrange as well as the high frequencies. The difference with and w/o spikes is pretty dramatic. I can see where the reviewer could perceive an across the board improvement in the sound.Why wouldn't you think removing floorborne vibrations in his room wouldn't bring an extra dollop of clarity in the high frequencies? Makes perfect sense to me.
