Zapppa was an incredible player, but for the most part I can't listen to majority of his music. We had a zappa listening session to long ago and most agreed that it was the anticipation of great guitar work in-between the quirkiness that kept us listening. But to each is own and more power to the one that "gets" his music. It's what creativity is all about.
