I don't know what this sounds like on my system yet (it's still in boxes after a move) but the performance is so good it's becoming one of my favorite live rock albums. I never saw them live and had no idea they played this kind of churning, stinging guitar. And as picky as Young is, I hardly think he'd put out a bad performance with all the tapes he probably can choose from. Whether or not it's high rez, I don't care. I have plenty of high rez discs from Chesky and Groove Note I can play to show off my gear. The rock LPs of the time didn't sound too good, either, so what can you expect? Who would buy a live album from 1970 expecting audiophile sound?
