hi-rez is pointless where the original tape doesn't warrant it; as such this ragged performance barely belongs on CD, cassette at best. All the nonsense about "sound counts" does not hide a sonic performance I can outdo at 44.1 on my 8 track Fostex. It may "have been good for the time" etc. , but stuff like this hurts hi-rez. No reason to celebrate its release. And the peformance is another of endless Neil Young throw away slap dash "we were too drunk to rehearse" turkeys.
