I predict just like "Live at the BBC", it will zoom right back down the charts in two weeks. It could have been a masterpiece.
Imagine if there were no dead air after Sergent Pepper ends, before "All You Need is Love". THAT would be a segue.
Imagine if "All you need.." were the closer, or Sergent Pepper with no fill at the end. Get rid of Ringo singing Octopussy to some other tune, and put in surround sound "Penny Lane".
Cut both the Black bird and bogus Yesterday start, and make yesterday in surround with strings in the rear channels.
Add some of the "stll in the can" stuff, like "Come and Get It" or "Step Inside Love" (all avaialable for listening here!)2 corrections,
Mark of Mark and Brian said that was the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show; that is the Hollywood Bowl announcement and the studio tape of I want to hold your hand (remized with extra guitar).
Sounds OK, would ahve sounded killer without the fake screaming. Complete and utter BS.That is not John singing "Take 1" of Strawberry Fields, that is him demoing it for George before the actual take one was recorded. I have all takes (1-11 (?)) complete and that ain't the vocal from 1.
They swung for a home run, and hit a bunt.
