Not a big Los Lobos fan, and this hasn't changed it; but the first cut, "The Valley" which opens with distortion and maybe even guitar synthesizer(!!!) is soemthing I am not used to hearing from Los Lobos. Kind of cool, harder edged rock.
The "Two Dogs and a Bone" is a quick shuffle, sounds like a throw away to me, with lyrics that are completely predictable. C+
