Yes, a fine double CD on the heals of a pretty good one (Frank Black Francis). There's a nice Nashville/LA roots admixture in Fast Man/Raider Man. The Pixies reunion was one of last year's better tours. Frank said awhile back that he would be happy with a career like Alex Chilton-- putting out a string of eccentric albums with little concern for market forces. IMO he passed Chilton awhile back. More like a Brian Wilson for his generation.
