I just picked this up today on a lark, and I've already spun it twice. What a masterful piece of work. Like his last album, "Honeycomb," Black is joined by a who's who of legendary session musicians, including Steve Cropper, and, man, the results are impressive. Two CDs, 27 tracks, and nary a bum one on the whole set. It covers a wide range of styles--blues, country, alt-pop--but it manages to hang together better than a lot of other double albums I've heard. Really good stuff, and VERY higly recommended!
