From Classic Rock to Progessive to hip hop to today's hot new tunes!

35 years ago, I went home to San Francisco for a weekend. My friends at SF State put up new window treatment. And then we saw the video, for Faith No More's "Epic." FNM were from San Francisco. Musically, "Epic" was a then-new amalgam of rap rock and funk metal.

If you watch that video, guitarist Jim Martin was wearing a shirt paying homage to Metallica's late bassist, Cliff Burton. And lead singer Mike Patton sported a shirt from his old band, Mr. Bungle.

Some controversy arose, from the fish flopping at the end of the video. Supposedly, none of the fish was harmed.
