Alice Cooper's "Only Women Bleed" came out in 1975, a whopping 50 years ago. Since we were in preschool, no, we don't have many photos from 1975.
When we got to college in the early-1990s, our dorms were coed. Therefore, topics regarding menstruation were at the top of the list.
But then, in the vacuum left by "out with the 1980s," the culture (including music) of the 1970s made a comeback. We thus got to listen to Alice Cooper's "Only Women Bleed" in a new light. And when we took a deeper look and listen, we were stunned, that it was not about menstruation. Rather, it harrowingly was about the woman being abused.
