20 years ago, everybody was getting married and having kids. That meant a lot of travel.
I got to go back to my second home, Honolulu.
Just like old times, we slipped on muddy trails.
On this 2005 trip, my wife and I discovered Asia's "Long Way From Home." She thought is was boringly "formulaic," and did not make her homesick, for what that was worth. OTOH, other friends and relatives liked "Long Way From Home," not just on its own, but also as an alternative to the same ol' same ol' on the radio. Now that our kids are in high school and college, it hammers home the point that "Long Way From Home" is now 20 years-old.
