5 years ago, we had heard about a new SARS variant, COVID-19. But as it really had not reached the U.S., we didn't really pay much attention.

So as my friends had done for decades, we and our extended families were still sharing food.

At this time, we heard a new Queensryche song, "Launder The Conscience." And it felt good that, although their lineup was different, Seattle's Queensryche had outlived grunge.
