"Hey, no cheating!"
In November 1989, our dorm wanted to do a "No-Shave November." Guys would refrain from shaving their face, and girls would refrain from shaving their legs and pits.
However, we had dances and parties, where we had to dress nicely. For the guys, we just had to find collared shirts, slacks, and dress shoes. But when girls had sleeveless outfits, they felt the need to shave their pits. But ah! One girl went around this, by waxing instead of shaving, LOL!
While preparing for a semi-formal, we enjoyed Spandau Ballet's "Crashed Into Love." It turned out to be better than most of the stuff the DJs spun at those dances.
By the time "Crashed Into Love" was released in 1990, the pop music market had changed. Alt-rock ruled, so the adult contemporary "Crashed Into Love" went nowhere.
