But in 2009, 15 years ago, our kids were toddlers.

In 2009, our kids' older cousins and friends were in high school. They were watching Wizards Of Waverly Place, and introduced Selena Gomez's "Magic" to our kids. Because Pilot's version was/is so old, most people assumed that Selena Gomez's "Magic" was an original.
