Exodus, "Low Rider"

When we were in preschool in the mid-70s, War came out with the iconic "Low Rider." And then, in 1989, the East Bay's Exodus, who always tried a variety of covers, also did one for "Low Rider." But here's the thing. In 1989, we were in high school, and did not drive. Moreover, our families had economy subcompact cars, not low riders. We rode Muni buses and merry-go-rounds, not big cars. Nevertheless, when we went to Exodus concerts, their sped-up version of "Low Rider" worked better live, than on record.
