When we were teenagers in the 1980s, we had braces. Thus, that was your "heavy metal." And we got to hear and see heavy metal band Judas Priest in their heyday. Well, not only do our teenaged kids have braces, but we ourselves have had to, once again, go back for orthodontic work.
Here's JP's new song, "Crown Of Horns," which will appear on their upcoming album, Invincible Shield. JP's Glenn Tipton, Ian Hill, and Rob Halford are now - gasp - in their 70s. Back when we originally had braces, I don't think anyone could have imagined that, decades later, JP would sill be coming out with new material. The mid-tempo "Crown Of Horns" is, now that you listen to and think about it, perhaps very appropriate, fitting, and mature for JP, at this stage.
