35 years ago, we were in the middle of a drought. So of course, when my friends wanted to go out and play softball, it rained. And only enough to wet the field, not provide any drought relief. Oh well, we could switch to football, which was really fun. Afterward, though, the girls' parents did not seem to thrilled with the girls being all muddy. However, the girls (as opposed to the boys) tended to help out with laundry.

Via MTV, we saw a video for 'Til Tuesday's "(Believed You Were) Lucky." I'm not sure, if any of my friends heard this song on the radio. If you had access to print media, the 'Til Tuesday album did garner a few positive reviews. But it apparently wasn't well-known, and the band split up.

Audiophiles seem to know lead singer Aimee Mann's solo material, more than 'Til Tuesday's.
