20 years ago, I was working in property management, We had an eclectic mix of commercial, parking, residential, hotel, music studio, and dorm properties. My office coworkers loved Britney Spears' "Toxic." Alas, one of my coworkers broke out in rash/hives. Toxic, indeed.

The lead songwriter for "Toxic" was Cathy Dennis. She and her handlers had Janet Jackson in mind. However, the song was first offered to Kylie Minogue, who politely turned it down.
